Standard Bibliographic Coding

The standard bibliographic coding service includes begin document/end document, begin attachment/end attachment, document type, document title (natural and enhanced), document date/estimated date flag, characteristic, author, recipient, copyee. Based on specific client requirements personalized and customized coding services are also provided.

Advanced Bibliographic Coding

A manual line-by-line review of each page of each document, coding the requested words or names into a database record that is associated with the document that the word or name was found in.

Document Unitization

Document Unitization is a service, whereby the determination of document boundaries is established. This is generally performed when bibliographic coding is required. An LDD complements the physical determination and in that the physical binding element is typically the attachment range.
